The World Needs You

Recently, I watched a clip of a motivational speaker that I've always held in awe - Lisa Nichols.

Not only is she an embodiment of her beliefs, but she is also evidence of her successes as well.

Yes, a far cry from motivational speakers whose only aspiration seems to be to attempt to make you believe you can fly off the top of a building or give someone all your savings in the hopes of a miraculous gift from up above ...

... you have got to have a plan!

Then, and only then, you can expect divine intervention. Oh! and the plan shall include some work, so don't go thinking you will have some free lunch ...

... this is not Freetown.

And although I've never been to Sierra Leone, things aren't free there either.

Alas! I digress ... I need to stop doing that ....

... anyway, the point of the clip was so poignant, it stuck with me ever since.

We all have a message to share that can benefit someone, and we need not ask for anyone's permission but give the world notice, get out there and share!

After hearing such impactful words, I resolved to do my best to adhere to that lesson by using the media available to me to reach out to those who my message resonates with and share.

Never allow yourself to be discouraged, despondent or depressed. Keep being the best version of yourself and aim to be a person of value - to your parents, siblings, friends, colleagues, clients, audience, etc.

Be grateful for life and health.

Show gratitude for every blessed day by going out and being your awesome self again.

The world needs you,,,

... it deserves you and you have no right, whatsoever, to let it down.
